HOMES
Around ninety percent of
homes in the Rosamond area are no more than 20 years old, and the majority are
12 or less.

 |
 |
| Mature trees
flag this as an older home...~16 years |
This street
could be "anywhere SoCal" |

Skypark home...residents own & operate the airport |
Yes, in
Rosamond you CAN
have a JetRanger in your backyard! |
PUBLIC FACILITIES
While Rosamond is still unincorporated,
facilities-wise we already have the nucleus of the town-to-be:
|
 |
 |
 |
 |
 |
|
Wanda Kirk Library
Study & research areas, internet, meeting rooms, etc. |
Post office & Fire Station
Our brand-new fire station replaces a WW-II era
structure and is more centralized relative to the growing population. |
Community Services
The RCSD handles water, sewer, parks. |
While the nearest hospital is in
Lancaster, we have fulltime ambulance service. |
|
 |
 |
 |
 |
 |
|
Hummel Hall
Our community center...meeting rooms, senior nutrition, etc. |
Downtown Park
Convenient for residents of "old downtown", this park is one of
two. |

ground water sources |

Rosamond High boasts this centrally-located campus, shared with
Hamilton

Baptist
Church
Rosamond has a fine selection of churches, no less than eleven,
in fact. |

Chapel
One of several non-denominational
|
Masonic
Hall
Housed in a classic old adobe church building.
Rosamond has chapters of most major
civic & fraternal organizations |
BUSINESS & COMMERCIAL
Though "heavy
duty" shoppers must still travel to Lancaster/Palmdale for large appliances,
furniture and clothing, we do have local sources for virtually everything needed
day-to-day:
 |
 |
 |
 |
|
Shopping
Center
Now around 11 years old, this center is still the
"shopping focus" of Rosamond |
Supermarket
The arrival of Albertson's was truly a milestone in Rosamond |
Rite-Aid
Drugs, etc.
Having a selection of specialty stores greatly augments the
"livability" of our town. |
Karl's
Hardware
A local stand-by for decades, family-owned Karl's seems to have
everything. Diamond Street location. |
|
 |
 |
 |
 |
 |
Devonshire
Motel
Weekend crowds at Willow Springs Raceway often fill this motel,
but weekdays are generally quiet. |
Law Offices
We have a couple of resident lawyers if needed:

the freeway |

food. Full bar, optional scenic patio dining. Dinner 7 days, Sunday champagne brunch
